Chicago-Style
The “Chicago Style” got its start from street cart hot dog vendors during the hard times of the Great Depression. Money was scarce, but business was booming for these entrepreneurs who offered a delicious hot meal on a bun for only a nickel. Thus, the famous Chicago Style Hot Dog was born!
Location Update
The Dogfather will be at Little Apple Vintage Flea on Humboldt from 10-3 February 10th.
As a general rule of thumber The Dogfather will not be out when the temps are below 40 degrees. please check @thedogfathermhk on Facebook for the most up to date information

We are a Family and Veteran owned small business based in Manhattan, KS, bringing a taste of Chicago to our community through our hot dog stand. Our business was founded after Pete retired from the military and the family settled into MHK. We are proud to serve our customers with delicious, authentic Vienna All-Beef Chicago-style hot dogs.

Pete Frasco
Pete has is originally from suburbs of Chicago and came to Manhattan in 1992 when stationed at Fort Riley where he met his wife. He has dreamed of owning a Vienna Hotdog Cart since he was 16 years old. Funny story, a month after starting the process he suddenly became gluten intolerant. Ironic?
Josh Maxwell
Josh the Owner and is an Army kid who has traveled the world and lived overseas for several years. He is excited to work toward a brick and mortar location for The Dogfather and honored to be working with Manhattan community.
